Route 42 in Viriginia is an historical road that runs through much of the Shenandoah Valley and continues south, beyond the Valley, terminating in Broadford, Virigina.  The highway is 310 miles long but in three sections, with gaps in between. Although it runs through Harrisonburg, most of the route is rural.  My town, Broadway, is on this route.

I have been exploring and photographing along this route. In this portfoilo are a few of these images.
